Following a committee meeting last week it has been decided to put on the Paddy this September.
That's the good news !
Due to the ongoing uncertainty with covid we will be scaling back a small bit.
This year it will be reduced to a ONE DAY ONLY event to be held on Saturday 18th September and restricted to 120 entrants. These will be taken on a first come basis for previous entrants ONLY.
We will be following ALL covid guidelines so there'll be an extra few boxes to tick in relation to vaccinations etc. Registration will be on line through active as usual.
The format for this year's Paddy is as follows.
Entrants will arrive Saturday morning.
Check-in will be open at 7. Podium start for 9.30.
Compulsory lunch stop between 12.30 - 13.30
Return to Doon for dinner and prize giving for 5.30- 7.30 and then home.
There will be no overnight camping facilities arranged this time around.
It's going to be a tight one but rest assured that we will do our utmost to put on the best Paddy we can considering all the obstacles that we face this year.
So to set the ball rolling, we will open registration on the morning of 14th August at 6.00 am. Don't forget it is a first come first served basis. Registration will close at 23.00 on 28 August. With the amount of interest in this years Paddy we expect places to fill up quickly so don't hang around. Please follow the link below to register.
